9:00 – 9:30 AM: Registration of Conference Learning Activists

9:30 – 10:00 AM: Creating a Contemplative Space for Imagination

Maori Meeting House, Third Floor, Field Museum of Natural History, Museum Campus

10:00 – 11:15 AM: Introductions of Participants through Appreciative Inquiry

Individual and Group Sharing Around the Following Questions:

Describe the place you are from. What is special about it?
What is one change you see as possible and important in your own community? Why does it matter to you?
What motivates you to get involved in your community?
Tell me a story of when you shared a private dream in public. How did sharing your dream begin to create a new possibility that included others?
What brings you here, to be a part of this imagination conference and of the imagination movement?

Small Group (8) Creation: What surprising connections emerged among you?

11:15 – 12:30 PM: Imagination Café

Siragusa Room, Ground Floor, Field Museum of Natural History

12:30 – 1:45 PM: Lunch

Box Lunches from Corner Bakery. Eat in Siragusa Room or Blackbox Theater.

2:00 – 4:30 PM: Open Space Technology Sessions (facilitated by Michael Herman)

Maori Meeting House, Third Floor, Field Museum of Natural History, Museum Campus

4:30 – 5:00 PM: Procession to the Gala

Transport exhibits by foot from the Field Museum to the Planetarium.

6:30 – 11:00 PM: GALA: Imagination in Orbit

Milky Way and Sky Pavilion, Alder Planetarium, Museum Campus

8 AM Optional morning walk for conference learning activists, along the lakefront, with imaginative activities, led by Richard Geer
