Imagine Chicago is a non-for-profit corporation with 501©3 status. We rely on
private donations as well as fee-for-service income. Most of our seminal
programs were launched with support from family foundations. We are always
eager to find partners in mission. Individuals donations are deductible
to the full extent allowable under the law. They are used to help fund the
expansion of the Ubumama maternal health project, internships for young
people, scholarships for training courses, and maintenance of our website as
a community learning resource. Please help us to enrich and transform
communities by empowering human creativity and connection. Your contribution
can make a world of difference! To make your tax-deductible contribution to

Internships & Volunteer Opportunities

Imagine Chicago’s core staff is intentionally small and comprised primarily
of the founder working with young interns on a rotating basis. We greatly
value intergenerational, intercultural partnerships which renew and expand
the organization with fresh ideas and energy. Interns have included Public
Allies, Chicago university students, and a number of interns from abroad,
principally from the Kaospilot school in Denmark. Imagine Chicago
also works with volunteers of all ages who contribute invaluable professional
services and ideas—not only on the board but in a variety of administrative
and programmatic support roles. A new volunteer showing up is an invitation
to us to accomplish more. We work hard to match your interests with Imagine
Chicago's mission. Please contact us to find out more about current volunteer opportunities.

Join the Discussion - Join the Imagine Movement
Imagine Chicago has inspired projects on six continents and the movement
continues to grow. As a result of the gathering of these projects in September
2002 in Chicago, a global learning network of Imagine projects is now
established to facilitate an ongoing exchange of ideas and other resources.
